The ip address are mainly of two types which either changeable (dynamic) or non-changeable (static).
The type of ip address which you can configure yourself by editing your computer’s network settings is the static ip address. This type of changeable ip address is much rare and might cause troubleshoot problems and can create network errors or issues if you have little knowledge of TCP/IP.
Dynamic address are often most usable and common. They’re assigned by the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), a service running on the network.
DHCP typically runs on network hardware such as routers or dedicated DHCP servers. Dynamic IP address are only limited to certain time or active for a limited time. They have leasing system so when the time expires your device or computer will automatically ask for new Ip address.
If the computer cannot find the proper communicating protocol address then there will be a warning and the network will have a conflict.
Sometimes a computer could have the same IP address as the other computer does and this arises a conflicting situation in data communication.
However such problems are rare nowadays and the problems are fixed automatically by the today’s technology issues.
