The IP address which is known as the internet protocol is the address provided by the internet service provider i.e. server at your house or office (your ip address).

The IP address depends on the service provider which could be dynamic or static. The dynamic IP address could only be changed from time to time however static IP address cannot be changed and is mostly fixed.

It depends on whether the IP address you are using is either static or dynamic to be changed.

There are several ways to change the IP address of your computer or the laptop.

METHOD 1: RESTART

The simplest way to change the IP address of your computer/laptop is to restart your laptop or computer.

See whether the ip address changes or remains the same.

Method 2: RESETTING ROUTER

Next you can reset the bottom of your router or modem and check out the IP address.

You can just check out the ip address again during the overnight just by resetting the power bottom of the router or modem.

Method 3: FIND DIFFERENT PLACES

If your IP address does not change by restarting your computer/laptop or resetting the modem or router then you can go to any place other than your house or office like cyber, cafeteria or perhaps your cousins or friends’ house.

It is because the IP address at these places differs from place to place and the internet service protocol i.e. IP is different at these places.

Method 4: CONTACT ISP

Next you ask the internet service provider (ISP) or server to change the internet protocol or IP that you are using at your house or office.

Method 5: USE PROXY

You can use the proxy server or virtual private network (VPN) which displays the different ip address for your computer or laptops. This VPN will allow you to access the virtual ip address from different parts of the world showing both the ip address and the country.

You can use the tor browser which changes the ip address regularly but it uses a virtual ip address.
